Singularity the Performance

A direct critique of our society's hyper-consumption — a behavior that strips individual objects and experiences of their value. This is a revolt, a culinary project that forces a deep, immersive appreciation of the single.

Singularity is composed of two parts: a preceding live performance and a five-course dinner. The performance transforms the act of food preparation into an art installation, focusing on one ingredient: sesame.

The soundscape captured two distinct sonic layers — the bioelectrical signals emitted by the ingredient itself, and the subtle electricity generated by human-ingredient interaction during preparation. Attendees witnessed the physical transformation of sesame while simultaneously hearing its hidden, amplified voice.
