An Edible Journey of the Becoming

Developed in response to GreenRoom by artist Ieva Saudargaitė Douaihi, this edible installation explored the relationship between concealment, transformation, and decay. Inspired by the lifecycle of the nasturtium leaves that formed the original work, the project translated these themes into a temporary edible landscape.

Nasturtium leaves and locally sourced ingredients were assembled into a composition that unfolded through stages of veiling, blooming, and ultimately dissolution. Borrowing from the logic of the living installation, the work approached decay not as loss, but as a generative force; one that reveals what concealment once obscured.
