Singularity: The Dinner

Singularity the dinner extends the inquiry initiated in Singularity the performance through a five-course multisensory experience. Each course is centred on a single ingredient (tomato, rice, chickpea, melon, and sesame); exploring the depth, complexity, and expressive potential contained within one material.

Throughout the meal, diners listen to soundscapes created from the bioelectrical activity of each ingredient and the electrical signals generated live during its preparation. Paired with the corresponding course, these sonic compositions offer an additional layer through which to encounter the ingredient. By limiting each course to a single ingredient, the dinner explores how depth can emerge not from abundance, but from sustained attention.
