Tables in Bloom

Presented within a local flower market, this edible installation explored the gastronomic potential of edible flowers. Through a menu composed entirely of locally grown blooms, the project challenged the conventional role of flowers as decoration, revealing their capacity to contribute flavour, texture, aroma, and structure to a dish.

Displayed across flower carts among the blooms themselves, the food invited visitors to encounter flowers through tasting as much as through sight and smell. By placing edible creations alongside the plants from which they originated, the work sought to reposition flowers from the margins of the plate to the centre of the culinary experience.
