The Celestial Mirror

The Celestial Mirror was a multisensory Iftar experience inspired by the moon's symbolism in Sufi wisdom. Through food, storytelling, poetry, and projection, the dinner explored the relationship between the human spirit and the celestial bodies that have guided human life for centuries.

Set within an immersive environment of white fabric, light, and moving imagery, the experience invited guests to reflect on cycles of transformation. Each course drew from a different aspect of the moon's symbolism, translating philosophical and spiritual ideas into edible forms. Throughout the evening, narration, sacred chants, and visual landscapes unfolded alongside the meal, creating a dialogue between taste, sound, and image. Through ritual, The Celestial Mirror offered a contemporary reflection on an ancient relationship between humans and the night sky.
